Rich & Good Cake Shop – Part 1 (Introduction)

Rich & Good Cake Shop sells delicious, yummy swiss rolls. I hadn’t been to the shop before and not sure what other cakes or pastries they are selling. But it seems that the most famous pastries from the shop is the swiss rolls. It comes in all different types of flavors.

How to go there? Lol. Like I said earlier, I hadn’t been to the shop yet, so I’m not too sure about where is the exact location of the shop and which could be the easiest way to reach there. Oh well, the shop doesn’t seems to have a website so the only way to know more about them is through telephone or physically visit the shop.

This is the Part 1 of Rich & Good Cake Shop, I will do a follow up post when I visit the shop personally. Before I go to the shop, let’s have a preview of the swiss rolls sold in Rich & Good Cake Shop. Why does it attracts so many people to buy swiss rolls from them?

  • Durian
  • Kaya
  • Mango
  • Strawberry
  • Others

So far, I had tried Kaya and Mango. When you see them, it will makes you drool. They are generous in spreading sufficient kaya onto the swiss roll. As for the mango, they included small pieces of mangoes to have a greater taste. Eating one small piece of each is insufficient. You will feel like eating one piece after another, non-stop. Its so delicious that you can’t imagine right now.

Still not convince about the taste of the swiss roll, take a look at the side view of the swiss roll. The swiss roll is very soft. The surface of the swiss roll looks as delicate as a lady’s face, soft and smooth. The holes in the swiss roll are very small, just like how an eggless cake looks like. It is unlike the sponge cake. How to describe the feeling when you first bite it? When you put the swiss roll into your mouth, it just starts to slowly melt in your mouth. You can feel the softness of the swiss roll and the taste /flavor of the swiss roll.

The box or rather packaging of the swiss roll is nice too. It’s not too fanciful, it’s a peach color box with the address of Rich & Good Cake Shop and indication of the different types of flavors.

I heard that the swiss rolls are sold in a long long roll and the durian flavor is a must try if you like durian. How true is this? Shall let you know when I visit the shop personally. Keep a lookout for more updates on the Rich & Good Cake Shop. 🙂
