Vegetarian Eating Places
This post will be useful for vegetarians. This is a list of places you can choose to eat whether you are in Singapore or overseas. If you have any new places to intro, let me know, I will update this list. Oh yah, I am not sure of the shop of the name, if you know, let me know too. Thanks alot.
In Singapore
Aljunied
- Ci Hang Vegetarian Fast Food – Aljunied MRT
- Guan Yin Zai – Aljunied Blk 134
Balestier/Bendeemer
- Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant – Quality Hotel – weekdays provide steamboat buffet, weekends provide international buffet, ala carte available everyday
Bugis
- Roma’s Deli – western food – Shaw tower
- Fortune Centre – almost whole building are selling vegetarian foods
- Piao Xiang Vegetarian @ level 2
- Pine Tree Cafe @ level 2
- Yuan Xiang – zhu chao type – opposite National Library
- Pine Tree Cafe – Bugis Junction Foodcourt (shifted from HarbourFront Foodcourt)
Bukit Batok
- Eight Immortals Vegetarian – hawker centre near mrt – opens daily
Circuit Road – take bus 40 from bus stop opp Aljunied MRT station
- Zi Zai Zhai – the middle of the hawker centre has alot of vegetarian stores. Their yi pin mian is the best, try it if there is
CityHall Area
- Suntec Foodcourt
Clementi
- Hawker centre along main road, nearest to NTUC – clementi central/mrt station
- NUS – Science faculty canteen – stall is facing Megabits – provides lunch only, auntie always tries to clear her food before 2pm. Sometimes 1pm, no more food already, so be there early
- NUS – Yusoff Ishak House canteen
- NUS – Engineering Cantenn – the best veg food you can find in NUS. Has more variety of foods ranging from normal cai fan to kway chap, shen mian and many more
- NUS – Arts Canteen
- NUH staff Canteeen
Joo chiat
- Just Greens Vegetarian Restaurant – 49-51 Joo Chiat Place, hidden behind blocks have to take note
Orchard Area
- The foodcourt beside Orchard Point, quite hidden have to look for it.
- Grand Court Vegetarian Restaurant – Orchard Shopping Centre level 5 (closing near end of July 2008, no more buffet as of 7th June 2008 when I went there. Restaurant shifted to Chinatown)
Outram/ Chinatown
- Happy Realm Vegetarian – Pearl Centre Shopping Centre – the food there is more traditional even mock meat is “washed” from plain flour
- Lao Di Fang – Apollo Centre, opposite MOM – signature dishes are Si Ji Dou, Claypot tofu and Sambal Fish
- Just Greens Restaurant – Best buy: fried golden mushroom, try their ramen too but you will have to wait for quite sometimes
- Grand Court Vegetarian Restaurant – shifted from Orchard to Chinatown since 1st May 2008
Serangoon
- Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant – near Kovan MRT station
Simei
- Happy Arts Deli – Metta School
Tampines
- Blk 419 near tampines polyclinic
- Just Greens – Tampines central, Blk 506, opposite polyclinic
- Just Greens – Eastlink foodcourt @ Interchange
- Tampines Mall foodcourt
- Blk 800+
- 201 biggest hawker centre – try their lor kway tiao, its nice
- Pu Ti Su Shi – Blk 138 Round Market – try their kway chap if you are eating there or bee hoon if you are going to take away
- Simple Food – Blk 462 Tampines St 44- selling oriental, western and chinese food (similar to Roma Deli’s)
Vivocity/ HarbourFront
- Pine Tree Cafe – Harbourfront foodcourt – food quite expensive, don’t try food that you have never seen before, else you might be wasting your money ( I just went to HarbourFront foodcourt on 5th June 2008, had verified that Pine Tree Cafe is closed. It has probably shift to Fortune Centre Level 2). Updated – 21/10/2008 – Pine Tree Cafe @ Harbourfront foodcourt has moved to Bugis Junction Foodcourt.

hey, the pine tree cafe that closed down in harborfront centre is the one that has shifted to bugis junction food court. haha, i still can recognise the one who serves at the counter.

ohh, so they had shifted to Bugis junction. Those at fortune center are eldery people serving. Thanks anyway, shall update my list.
